Job Description The Seasonal Sales Associate will help create an exceptional shopping experience for customers during the festive trading period. You will identify customer needs and provide suitable solutions while consistently working to exceed customer expectations. You will actively monitor your sales performance against set targets and look for opportunities to generate additional sales. The role will involve selling a diverse range of products while keeping up to date with the latest fashion and décor trends. You will also identify new sales opportunities and engage with customers to understand their requirements. The successful candidate will ensure merchandise is replenished timeously so that the store remains fully stocked and ready for customers. You will also assist with customer queries and complaints and ensure that these are handled efficiently and professionally. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience within a retail environment is advantageous. A Matric certificate is advantageous. Candidates who have previous sales, customer service or retail experience are encouraged to apply. Requirements and Skills Applicants must have a positive, enthusiastic and can do attitude. You must be a South African citizen and have excellent communication and selling skills. A passion for retail and fashion will be advantageous. You should be sales driven and strongly focused on providing excellent customer service. A strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative and deliver results are essential. You must be able to work effectively under pressure, particularly during busy festive trading periods. The ability to deal efficiently and professionally with customer questions, complaints and requests is important. You must be willing to work retail hours, including according to the operational requirements of the store. Reliable transport is required. Applicants must also be available to start immediately.
