6. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Career Unified provides digital services. Depending on what you use on the platform, this may include premium features, subscriptions, AI-powered tools (such as the AI Tailor), job postings, CV access features, or other paid functionality.
Due to the nature of digital services, once a paid service has been accessed, activated, generated, or used, it is generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
6.1 AI Tailor Feature
The AI Tailor provides AI-generated suggestions and content based on information you provide. Outputs are automated and may require your review and editing. Career Unified does not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will lead to employment, interviews, or successful outcomes.
Payments made for AI Tailor usage, credits, or access are non-refundable once the service has been used (for example, once an output is generated), regardless of outcome or satisfaction.
6.2 Subscription Cancellations
Where subscriptions are offered, users may cancel at any time via their account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation prevents future billing, but does not automatically entitle the user to a refund for the current billing period. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the active billing cycle.
6.3 Refund Requests (Limited Circumstances)
Refunds will only be considered under limited circumstances such as:
- Duplicate charges caused by a technical error
- Incorrect billing attributable to Career Unified
- Failure of a paid service to function as described where no meaningful access was provided
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6.4 Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
A chargeback occurs when a user asks their bank or card provider to reverse a payment. Users agree to contact Career Unified first to resolve billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Unresolved or unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination, revocation of access to paid services, and restriction from future use of the platform.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Career Unified. This includes attempting to disrupt the platform, scraping content, using bots or automated systems without permission, abusing AI tools, or attempting to bypass security or payment systems.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where misuse is detected.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content, design, branding, and functionality (including AI tools and systems) are owned by Career Unified or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit any part of the platform without prior written permission.
9. Account Suspension & Termination
Career Unified reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, misused the platform, or initiated unjustified payment disputes. Where termination occurs due to breach or misuse, refunds are not provided.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Career Unified shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform.
