About the Opportunity GALXBOY is looking for energetic, confident and customer focused individuals to join its retail team as Seasonal Sales Assistants during the busy peak trade season. Contract Period The Seasonal Sales Assistant position is a fixed term opportunity running from 1 October 2026 to 31 December 2026. The role is specifically designed to support the store during the peak trading and festive season when customer traffic and sales activity are high. Key Responsibilities The Seasonal Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers have a positive experience in store. You will represent the GALXBOY brand and contribute to creating an energetic and welcoming environment for customers. The role requires you to develop strong product knowledge and understand the different products available in store, including styles, fits, fabrics and new product releases. You will assist customers with fashion advice and product recommendations and help them find products that suit their individual preferences. You will also help maintain the appearance and presentation of the store, ensuring that merchandise is displayed correctly and that the store consistently meets the required visual merchandising standards. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a busy retail environment and able to remain efficient and accurate during periods of high customer traffic. You may also be required to assist with technology based retail processes and should therefore be comfortable using digital systems and technology. During the festive season, the role may involve working extended hours and managing busy periods, queues and increased customer demand. Requirements This is an entry level opportunity, making it suitable for individuals who are enthusiastic about starting or developing their career in retail. Previous retail experience will be advantageous but is not the most important requirement. GALXBOY is looking for individuals with the right attitude, energy and willingness to work.
