About the Learnership
Vitality South Africa is offering an exciting Wealth Management Learnership opportunity for young South Africans looking to start a career in the financial services industry.
The programme provides learners with the opportunity to complete a nationally recognised NC: Wealth Management NQF Level 5 qualification while gaining practical workplace experience.
Learners will gain exposure to different areas of wealth management and financial services, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and industry experience needed to build a career in the sector.
What You Will Learn
The learnership provides practical exposure to client servicing, claims administration, pre sale underwriting, life benefits, retirement funds and new business processes.
You will also develop an understanding of financial services products, regulations and industry practices while working alongside experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
The successful learner will complete the NC: Wealth Management NQF Level 5 learnership programme and associated coursework.
You will gain practical experience across key areas of the Wealth Management function and assist with client servicing activities and customer enquiries.
The role will provide exposure to life benefits, retirement funds and funeral policies, as well as claims and underwriting administration.
You will be expected to maintain accurate records and ensure information is processed correctly.
The programme will also involve working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, managing learning objectives and workplace responsibilities, and contributing positively to team activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 is essential.
Applicants must have achieved at least Level 4, 50% in Mathematics.
Applicants must have achieved at least Level 4, 50% in English.
For candidates who took Mathematical Literacy, a minimum of Level 5, 60% is required.
A second language must be at least Level 4, 50%.
An incomplete tertiary qualification in a financial field will be advantageous.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must not currently be engaged in post Matric studies or formal employment.
Candidates must not have completed a previous learnership.
Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
Candidates must have basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Only South African candidates by birth will be considered.
