About the Graduate BI Engineer Internship SYSPRO is offering a Graduate BI Engineer opportunity for a graduate who is interested in business intelligence, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. The role focuses on turning business data into meaningful insights that can support better decision making. As a BI Intern, you will work alongside the analytics team to develop dashboards, reports and AI driven insights that help SYSPRO customers understand their businesses and help the company make better use of its own data. This is an opportunity for a graduate to gain practical experience working with business intelligence tools, data modelling, reporting, SQL and AI assisted analytics in a real business environment. What You Will Do As a Graduate BI Engineer, your responsibilities will include building and maintaining reports and dashboards using SYSPRO's BI tools. You will clean, model and validate data from multiple sources to ensure that information used for reporting and analysis is reliable. The role will also involve applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, generate forecasts and detect anomalies in business data. You will use AI assisted tools such as Copilot, Power BI's AI features or similar technologies that are already part of SYSPRO's approach to analysis and reporting. These tools will help you work more efficiently when analysing data and developing reports. You will work with product and customer teams to understand business questions and translate them into appropriate data queries and analysis. You will also be expected to present your findings clearly so that non technical stakeholders can understand the insights and use them to make informed decisions. Requirements Applicants should have a degree or diploma in Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a similar field. Working knowledge of SQL is required. Exposure to a business intelligence tool such as Power BI, Tableau or a similar platform will be an advantage. Applicants should also have some exposure to artificial intelligence or machine learning concepts or tools. This exposure may come from academic studies, personal projects or previous learning. SYSPRO is looking for someone who can identify the story behind a dataset rather than focusing only on the numbers. A genuine interest in manufacturing and distribution data is also required. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate should have an interest in business intelligence and data analytics, together with an understanding of how data can be used to support business decisions. Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, BI tools, artificial intelligence or machine learning will be beneficial. The ability to communicate technical findings to non technical stakeholders is also important for this role.
