The trainee will support day to day accounting activities, assist with financial reporting and audits, maintain accurate financial records and contribute to tax compliance and other financial processes. The position also involves working with clients and collaborating with colleagues to improve accounting procedures and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting and Reporting Assist with preparing and recording financial transactions in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts, ensuring that financial information is accurate and properly documented. Annual Financial Statements and Audits Assist with preparing annual financial statements and supporting audit processes. Help maintain complete financial records and documentation required for reporting and compliance purposes. Tax Compliance and Client Support Engage with clients to resolve financial queries and assist in ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations. Provide support with accounting related enquiries and help maintain accurate client financial information. Budgeting and Financial Planning Participate in budget preparation and forecasting processes. Assist with compiling financial information that supports planning, monitoring and decision making. Minimum Requirements Applicants must have a BCom Accounting degree. Candidates must also have their own or reliable transport and be able to work on site at Raizcorp's Sandton office.
