About the Road Accident Fund The Road Accident Fund's mission is to provide timely and equitable assistance to those affected by motor vehicle accidents, offering appropriate social benefits that ensure financial relief and recovery for qualifying individuals. Purpose of the Role The RAF is committed to youth skills development and is offering unemployed graduates the opportunity to gain valuable work-based experience through its Quality Assurance Internship. This programme is open to unemployed graduates aged 18 to 23 and runs for 12 months. A verification process will be conducted to confirm whether applicants have previously worked anywhere in South Africa. Key Performance Areas General office administration Documents and records management Handling queries and complaints administration Reviewing claims compliance against the RAF Act and internal guidance Creating and maintaining various spreadsheets Developing templates and checklists Identifying and reporting on quality issues Reviewing trends for relevance and accuracy Following up on action plans Preparing monthly reports Liaising with different stakeholders Core Responsibilities Rendering administration support services Maintaining appropriate record keeping Applying knowledge and understanding of the claims handling environment Demonstrating a basic understanding of claims processes and procedures Demonstrating a basic understanding of Quality Assurance principles Minimum Requirements Certified Grade 12 / Matric certificate B Degree or Diploma in Law or a related qualification, or in Business Administration/Management Diploma or certificate in Quality Management is an added advantage Certified copy of ID Certified copy of academic transcript CV and motivational letter Skills & Competencies Written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Desire and potential to learn Self-motivated Basic computer skills in MS Office Ability to prioritise tasks Basic client service skills Remuneration Interns will receive a monthly stipend (totalling R96,000 per annum).
