About the Graduate Opportunity Premier FMCG is offering an exciting graduate opportunity for a Raw Materials and Packaging Graduate. This programme is designed to provide practical exposure to supplier quality, food safety, packaging requirements, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement within the FMCG industry. The successful graduate will gain valuable workplace experience while working with internal teams and suppliers to ensure that raw materials and packaging meet the required quality and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities The graduate will assist with managing the Supplier Quality Assurance Programme and supplier compliance activities. The role will involve supporting supplier audits, assessments and performance evaluations, as well as assisting with supplier approval, onboarding and documentation management. The successful candidate will help ensure that suppliers comply with food safety, quality, packaging and regulatory requirements. You will also assist with maintaining supplier risk assessments, audit schedules and food safety systems. The role includes exposure to VACCP activities and hazard analysis reviews, as well as opportunities to work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve quality and compliance matters. The graduate will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and supplier performance management. Requirements Applicants must have completed Grade 12 / Matric. A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Science Technology is required. Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. An understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is required, together with basic knowledge of SOPs and recipes. Candidates should have basic Microsoft Office skills and demonstrate strong analytical thinking. A proactive approach to housekeeping and implementation of workplace standards is important. Premier FMCG is looking for graduates who demonstrate accountability, innovation, a continuous improvement mindset and a strong sense of urgency. The ability and willingness to learn, take responsibility for assigned tasks and deliver results will be important in this role. Programme Requirements The successful candidate will be expected to maintain accurate records and complete all tasks communicated by management. The position requires a five day working week, with overtime when required.
