About the Programme Premier FMCG is offering an exciting 12 month Graduate Programme for a Learning and Development graduate at its Corporate Office in Midrand. This opportunity is designed for graduates who want to gain practical experience in Learning and Development while working alongside an experienced team and gaining exposure to learning processes across the business. The successful graduate will report to the Manager: Learning and Development Programme and Projects and may gain exposure to different regions and business units. What You Will Learn and Do The graduate will gain practical exposure to Learning and Development administration and systems, including platforms such as Payspace, Moodle, Learning Management Systems and GP. You will gain an understanding of Learning and Development processes and their application, including training, SETA processes and bursaries. The role will also provide exposure to payment processes involving vendors, training providers and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date training records on the learning database and assisting with Talent Development activities. This may include supporting travel bookings, catering arrangements, facilitation activities and maintaining logbooks. The programme will also provide opportunities to develop your time management, planning, organisation, teamwork and conflict management skills. You may also support national Learning and Development projects and tasks as required. Travel to other Premier FMCG sites may be required to gain exposure to different business units and Learning and Development activities. Minimum Requirements Applicants must have completed Grade 12. Candidates must have completed a Diploma or Degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Management or a related field. A valid driver's licence will be advantageous. Essential Skills and Competencies Applicants should have good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel. The ideal candidate should be adaptable and open to change, with a strong willingness and ability to learn. You should be able to work under pressure, deal with setbacks and remain focused on achieving results. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail are important, particularly when working with numbers and learning records. Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines are required. Candidates should also be team players with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others. The ability to critically evaluate information will be important in this role. Programme Information This is a 12 month paid Graduate Programme based at Premier FMCG's Corporate Office in Midrand. The successful candidate will work across different regions and report to the Manager: Learning and Development Programme and Projects. The graduate may be required to support national Learning and Development projects and travel to other Premier FMCG sites to gain broader exposure to the organisation and its various business units.
