Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of R9 000 throughout the duration of the learnership. About the Learnership The OUTsurance Learnership is a structured work-based learning programme that equips unemployed youth with practical experience and industry-relevant skills. Learners will participate in daily operational activities while attending formal training sessions that contribute towards a recognised qualification. Please note that this is a learnership agreement and not a permanent employment contract. What You Will Learn During the programme, learners will gain practical experience in: Call centre operations Customer service excellence Professional communication Financial and insurance industry practices Customer relationship management Workplace professionalism Time management and teamwork Problem-solving and conflict resolution Business operations and compliance Key Responsibilities Successful learners will: Deliver professional customer service within a call centre environment. Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Communicate effectively with clients. Participate in structured workplace training and learning activities. Complete all required learnership assessments. Maintain professionalism while interacting with customers. Follow company policies and operational procedures. Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn. Adapt to changing business requirements and work effectively under pressure. Working Hours Learners will work according to a rotational roster which includes: Friday to Monday shifts (9 hours per day) Saturdays (8 hours) Sundays (5 hours) Two weekdays off (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday depending on the roster) One dedicated weekday for full qualification training on-site Applicants should be willing to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required. Minimum Requirements Applicants must: Be a South African citizen. Be between 18 and 35 years of age. Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate. Be computer literate (Microsoft Office). Have no previous work experience. Have been unemployed during the last six months. Be passionate about building a career in customer service, insurance, or financial services.
