About the Programme Old Mutual is looking for bright, ambitious and motivated young South Africans to join its Amathuba Learnership Programme 2026. This 12-month programme gives unemployed youth the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Wealth Management NQF Level 4 qualification while gaining valuable workplace experience. The qualification is accredited and FSP recognised, helping learners build a foundation for a career in the financial services industry. Successful learners may gain exposure to career paths such as: Underwriting Financial Investment Advice Insurance Brokerage Other opportunities within the financial services sector What You Will Gain Successful learners will receive both classroom learning and practical workplace experience throughout the programme. You will be allocated a mentor who will provide guidance and support during the learnership. Learners will also: Complete a 12-month workplace and classroom learning programme Gain exposure to different financial products Learn about relevant legislation and business ethics Complete a logbook throughout the programme Receive mentorship and professional guidance Participate in Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects Develop valuable workplace and professional skills Minimum Requirements To be considered, applicants must meet the following requirements: Be a South African citizen Be between 18 and 30 years old Be currently unemployed Not currently be studying towards another qualification Have not previously completed a Wealth Management NQF Level 4 Learnership Have passed Grade 12 or an NQF Level 4 equivalent Be able to start the programme on 1 October 2026 Minimum Matric Subject Requirements Applicants must have obtained at least 50% in: English An official second language Pure Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy Skills and Competencies Old Mutual is looking for candidates with strong potential and a willingness to learn.
