About the Solution Engineer Internship
As a Solution Engineer Intern, you will gain practical exposure to working with customers and Microsoft technology solutions.
You will work with experienced team members and receive coaching while learning how to understand customer requirements, research customer environments and build knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies.
The role provides an opportunity to shadow customer stakeholder engagements and observe how technical solutions are presented and positioned to meet customer needs.
You will also contribute to technical wins by supporting the preparation and delivery of presentations and demonstrations.

Programme Responsibilities
The successful intern will learn to build awareness of customer needs and understand how customer feedback can influence product strategy and competitive strategies.
You will use Microsoft readiness and learning materials to expand your technical and domain knowledge.
The role will involve connecting with customers and supporting internal team readiness by developing an understanding of Microsoft products and available resources.
You will engage with customers under the guidance and coaching of experienced professionals.

Programme Eligibility
Applicants must be South African citizens and meet the eligibility requirements of the Microsoft South Africa BBBEE Internship Programme.
Candidates must either be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in their final year with no more than six months remaining, or have completed a Bachelor's degree within the last six months.
The degree must be in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
Fluency in English is required.
Candidates should have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential because the role involves customer engagement, presentations and collaboration with different teams.
Applicants should have a genuine passion for technology and an interest in working with customers to understand their needs and provide technology based solutions.
