About the Opportunity CCBA is offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Enterprise Architect to join its Digital and Technology team at the Group Office in Bryanston, Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the Group Head Enterprise Architecture and provide operational, administrative and coordination support to the Enterprise Architecture practice. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical exposure to enterprise architecture, technology governance, digital transformation, technology strategy and architecture practices within a large multinational organisation. Key Responsibilities The Junior Enterprise Architect will assist with coordinating Enterprise Architecture activities, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records and preparing minutes for relevant engagements. The role will involve tracking Enterprise Architecture requests and maintaining visibility of technology demand and related activities. The successful candidate will assist with managing architecture repositories, documentation and supporting evidence required for governance processes. You will also support governance activities and help ensure that relevant documentation and evidence are properly maintained and accessible. The role will provide exposure to Microsoft collaboration and productivity tools, including Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will assist with practice reporting, operational activities and the preparation of information required by the Enterprise Architecture team. Additional responsibilities will include supporting technology research, capability assessments, architecture documentation and the preparation of materials for architecture review and decision making forums. The role will also involve developing foundational knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, standards and best practices while supporting continuous learning and professional development. Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate should have strong organisational and coordination abilities, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good documentation, record keeping and administrative skills are important for maintaining architecture repositories and governance information. Candidates should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Azure DevOps. An interest in cloud technologies, AI platforms and automation technologies will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to support stakeholders professionally are required. The successful candidate should demonstrate good time management, reliability, process awareness and a willingness to learn and develop within the Enterprise Architecture environment. Experience Candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience in an administrative, analyst or junior technology role will be considered. Demonstrated interest in Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, Business Analysis, Process Improvement or Technology Strategy through academic projects, internships or graduate programmes will be advantageous. Previous exposure to documentation, coordination or technology governance support will be beneficial. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint is advantageous. An interest in enterprise architecture and technology practice operations is important. Education Requirements Applicants should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. Recent graduates and junior technology professionals are encouraged to apply. Relevant professional certifications will be advantageous. Knowledge or exposure to Artificial Intelligence and related technologies will also be beneficial.
