About the Role
Alistair Group is looking for a Junior Cash Administrator to support the company's cash and banking administration functions in Sandton, Johannesburg.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing bank transactions, preparing bank reconciliations, managing cash-flow reporting, maintaining bank mandates and liaising with banks and key stakeholders.
This role is suited to a finance professional with strong administrative skills who can work accurately in a fast-paced environment and manage financial information effectively.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior Cash Administrator will be responsible for:
Capturing and processing daily bank statements.
Capturing and processing payments, including foreign currency transactions.
Preparing bank reconciliations.
Preparing and managing weekly cash-flow reporting.
Managing bank mandates.
Capturing journals relating to various cashbook accounts.
Liaising with banks regarding administrative matters, including new users and banking limits.
Communicating and liaising with key internal stakeholders.
Supporting accurate and efficient cash administration processes.
Skills & Qualifications
Applicants should have:
Experience with SAP Business One will be preferred.
Experience working on banking platforms is essential.
Forex and mobile money platform experience will be advantageous.
A tertiary qualification in Finance is desirable.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
A valid passport.
Strong administrative skills.
Experience in the logistics industry will be preferred.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
Willingness and ability to work longer hours when required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 07:20–16:20
Alternate Saturdays: 08:00–12:00
