About the Learnership
iTOO is offering a 12-month Learnership Programme aimed at empowering South Africa's previously disadvantaged youth with the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Short-Term Insurance qualification at NQF Level 5.
The programme combines structured theoretical learning with practical workplace experience, giving successful learners the opportunity to develop valuable knowledge, skills and competencies needed to build a career in the insurance industry.
Learners will gain hands-on experience in a professional working environment while completing their accredited qualification and developing their understanding of short-term insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a learner, you will be expected to:
Process allocated work according to required quality, accuracy and productivity standards.
Provide a high standard of service to internal and external customers.
Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
Respond to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Resolve customer queries where possible at the first point of contact.
Follow company policies, procedures, compliance requirements and industry regulations.
Develop product, process and industry knowledge through training and practical workplace experience.
Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Maintain professionalism, integrity and confidentiality when handling customer and company information.
Take responsibility for your personal development and successfully complete all required learnership assessments and training activities.
Perform other reasonable duties that support business operations and the objectives of the learnership.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
Be between 18 and 30 years old.
Be a South African citizen by birth.
Have completed Grade 12 with Mathematics.
Have effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Have no previous work experience — experience is not required.
Not currently be engaged in formal employment.
Not currently be enrolled in post-Matric studies.
Not have previously completed a learnership.
Have basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Educational Requirements
Applicants must have completed at least one of the following:
A certificate, diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics or a related Information Technology field; OR
A Drone Operations or related Drone Technology certification; OR
A certificate, diploma or degree in Law; OR
A post-Matric qualification in any other field of study.
Applicants may have an incomplete tertiary qualification.
