Yokogawa is looking for a motivated HR Trainee to join its team in Johannesburg. This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in building a career in Human Resources and gaining practical experience in employee development, training coordination, internship management and onboarding.

As an HR Trainee, you will gain exposure to various HR development activities while supporting training programmes, internships and induction processes. You will work alongside HR professionals and develop practical skills that can support your long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with:
Planning, scheduling and coordinating employee training programmes.
Organising training sessions and supporting the logistics required for smooth delivery.
Supporting the screening, onboarding and monitoring of interns.
Maintaining intern records and preparing progress reports.
Organising induction activities for new employees.
Preparing induction materials and ensuring new employees have a welcoming onboarding experience.
Updating training calendars, attendance records and feedback forms.
Maintaining accurate internship and induction documentation.
Preparing training handouts, induction kits and internship guidelines with the HR team.
Collecting participant feedback and monitoring training programme outcomes.
Preparing summary reports to support continuous improvement.
Communicating with trainers, interns and new employees and providing administrative support.
Gaining practical exposure to training design, talent development and employee onboarding processes.
Health, Safety and Compliance
The successful candidate will be expected to follow Yokogawa's workplace policies, procedures and standards, including health, safety and quality requirements.
Responsibilities include:

Following all relevant health and safety instructions and procedures.
Participating in required health and safety training.
Using equipment correctly and according to instructions.
