About the Opportunity Hollard Insure is offering an opportunity for a Graduate Data Verifier to join its Agile PMO Chapter within the IT business unit. The Data Verifier will be responsible for gathering, verifying and reviewing claim information to ensure that claims are accurately assessed and allocated within the Recoveries and Liabilities portfolio. This role is suited to candidates with a background in LLB, Legal or Paralegal studies who are interested in gaining practical experience in the insurance industry, claims administration and legal-related processes. The successful candidate will support the team by reviewing claim information, identifying potential recovery opportunities, maintaining accurate records and assisting with customer and broker service. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Reviewing and establishing the merits of claims. Acknowledging receipt of claims from brokers and direct clients. Determining whether claims involve third-party liability or potential recovery. Identifying feasible recovery matters and referring them to the relevant recovery team. Ensuring that all required information is available before matters are referred to the liability product line. Checking that claim files contain all required documentation and information. Reviewing information such as claim forms, quantum, merits and other supporting documentation. Using external resources to obtain critical information where required. Maintaining detailed and accurate system notes and claim records. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency. Using appropriate tools to track resources, time and materials. Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment. Participating in training, mentorship, coaching and other professional development initiatives. Taking responsibility for personal professional development and career growth. Managing broker and client expectations. Supporting value-adding broker services. Providing customer service in line with quality and performance standards. Building positive relationships with customers. Resolving customer queries and escalating complaints where necessary. Gathering customer feedback and reporting relevant insights to the appropriate teams. Conducting all duties in line with Hollard's values, culture and professional standards. Minimum Requirements Applicants should have: A Matric certificate. An LLB, Legal or Paralegal qualification. A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in office administration. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Good communication and customer service abilities. The ability to work with information and maintain accurate records. The ability to work effectively within a team.
