About the Learnership Senwes Grainlink is offering an exciting learnership opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated young people who are interested in building a career in the agricultural industry. The programme provides learners with practical, hands on experience at one of the Senwes Grainlink silos while completing formal training that will prepare them to qualify as Junior Grain Graders. Learners will gain valuable exposure to grain handling, silo operations, administration and the agricultural environment while developing practical workplace skills. What the Programme Offers The learnership runs for approximately 12 months and combines structured training with practical workplace experience. Learners will receive on the job training in silo operations, grain handling and administration. They will also gain exposure to different grain commodities, including maize, sunflower and soya. The programme includes accredited training in grain grading as well as essential workplace skills such as computer literacy and communication. Minimum Requirements Applicants must have a National Senior Certificate, Grade 12. Applicants must have a valid driver's licence and be between the ages of 18 and 25. An interest in agriculture or technical fields will be advantageous. Applicants must also be willing to work at a silo and learn about grain operations. Additional Information Senwes is committed to transformation through the appointment of persons from designated groups. Potential candidates from these groups will receive preference.
