The programme combines structured classroom learning with hands-on workplace experience, preparing learners for a successful career as qualified artisans within the engineering and mining industries. Whether you dream of becoming an Electrician, Millwright, Diesel Mechanic, Boilermaker or Rigger, this learnership provides the practical experience and technical knowledge needed to build your future. Available Learnership Opportunities Successful applicants will be placed in one of the following artisan trades: Electrician (2 Positions) Boilermaker (3 Positions) Mechanical Fitter (4 Positions) Diesel Mechanic (2 Positions) Heavy Equipment Mechanic (2 Positions) Measurement Control & Instrumentation (1 Position) Auto Electrician (1 Position) Millwright (2 Positions) Rigger (2 Positions) What the Programme Offers Participants will benefit from: Structured theoretical and workplace-based engineering training. Practical exposure within a world-class mining operation. Mentorship from experienced artisans and engineering professionals. Development of technical and workplace skills. A nationally recognised Artisan Qualification upon successful completion. Valuable experience that enhances future employment opportunities in engineering and mining. Minimum Requirements Applicants must have: Educational Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) with: Mathematics (Mathematics Literacy is not accepted) Physical Science English A minimum pass mark of 40% in the above subjects. In addition, applicants must have either: An N2 Certificate or higher with the required trade subjects, or An NCV Level 4 qualification in the relevant engineering trade with all subjects passed (minimum 40%). Trade-Specific N2 Requirements Applicants should have the appropriate N2 subjects for their chosen trade. These include combinations of: Electrical Trade Theory Fitting Trade Theory Diesel or Motor Trade Theory Instrument Trade Theory Industrial Electronics Engineering Science Engineering Drawings Plating/Welders Theory Structural & Steelwork Drawings Rigger Trade Theory Applicants should ensure that their qualifications align with the trade they are applying for. Required Documents Applications must include: Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV). Certified copy of South African ID. Certified copies of all qualifications.
