About the Electrical Apprenticeship
Premier FMCG is offering a 3-year Electrical Apprenticeship Programme for a motivated individual who is interested in developing a career in electrical and technical trades.
The programme combines theoretical training at an accredited learning centre with practical workplace experience.
During the practical training phases, the apprentice will work under the supervision and guidance of a qualified Artisan. This allows the apprentice to develop practical skills and apply theoretical knowledge in a real industrial environment.
The programme will involve working shifts, weekends and public holidays, as required by the business.
Career Outcome
On successful completion of all programme requirements, the successful candidate will qualify as a Millwright.
What You Will Do
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will:
Participate in the 3-year apprenticeship programme.
Complete theoretical training at an accredited learning centre.
Complete practical workplace training.
Work under the guidance of qualified Artisans.
Apply theoretical knowledge to practical electrical and technical tasks.
Develop practical experience working with electrical systems.
Learn how to identify and resolve technical challenges.
Develop hands-on technical and maintenance skills.
Work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
Travel to Premier FMCG sites as required.
Complete all required theoretical training within the specified pass requirements.
Develop the skills required to qualify as a Millwright.

Minimum Requirements
Essential
Applicants must have:
N2 qualification with four subjects relevant to the trade.
Engineering Mathematics.
Engineering Science.
Electrical – advantageous.
Electrical Drawings.
Advantageous
The following will be beneficial:
N3 qualification.
Matric / Grade 12.
Relevant work experience.
Additional Requirements
Successful candidates must be prepared to:
Work a 6-day week when required.
Work overtime according to operational requirements.
Work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Travel extensively to Premier FMCG sites.
Successfully complete the required theoretical training.
Achieve the pass rate specified by management.
Participate fully in both theoretical and practical components of the apprenticeship.
