Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for an energetic and detailed-oriented Merchandiser to join their Sea Point store. In this role, you will ensure that merchandising standards, store layouts, and planograms are executed accurately, while maintaining shelf stock levels and providing friendly assistance to store customers. Key Responsibilities: Restock and face up merchandise on shop floor shelves to maximize sales. Unpack stock timeously and ensure proper rotation using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles. Check shelf stock for sell-by dates, damaged items, and correct pricing labels. Build, maintain, and face up merchandising displays according to Dis-Chem planograms. Monitor stock levels and report low stock, out-of-stock items, or price discrepancies to store management. Assist with stock counts, general stocktaking, and ZMORE reporting. Handle loading and off-loading of stock and keep designated storeroom areas organized. Maintain clean, presentable, and safe shop floor and shelf areas. Assist customers with product queries and follow up on out-of-stock requests in a courteous manner. Adhere to health and safety regulations, store security protocols, and company SOPs. Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric qualification. Up to 6 months of retail experience (1+ years is advantageous). Basic computer literacy (MS Office). Good command of English; strong communication and engagement skills. Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving stock boxes. Trustworthy, presentable, and reliable. Willingness to work retail operational hours (including weekends and shifts). South African citizen with clear credit and criminal records.
