About the Opportunity The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) is inviting applications for a Cashier position at its Medium Office in Wynberg, Western Cape. This is a government employment opportunity suitable for applicants who have completed Grade 12 / Senior Certificate at NQF Level 4. The successful candidate will provide cashier and front-office services to Home Affairs clients, process payments, issue receipts and assist clients with accessing the appropriate services. Post Number: POST 25/43 Reference Number: HRMC 52/26/9 Minimum Requirements Applicants must have: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate at NQF Level 4 as recognised by SAQA Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) Knowledge of cashier services Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures Understanding of departmental legislation and Human Resources legislation and prescripts Knowledge of the South African Constitution Knowledge of the Public Service Regulations Act Important: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate is the minimum educational requirement for this position.
