About the Opportunity Clover is offering an exciting opportunity for unemployed young South Africans to join its Secondary Distribution department through the YES Programme. The programme is designed to provide successful candidates with 12 months of practical workplace experience at Clover's Atlas branches. This opportunity is aimed at helping young people develop valuable workplace skills while gaining practical experience in an administrative and distribution environment. Requirements Applicants must be between 18 and 33 years old and must have a Matric qualification. Candidates must currently be unemployed and must not have previously participated in a learnership with another organisation. Key Competencies The successful candidate should be proactive, action orientated and committed to achieving results. Good teamwork and collaboration skills are important, together with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Candidates should demonstrate commitment, motivation and good administrative capabilities. Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will assist with monitoring drivers' adherence to planned routes using the Daily Route Management system. The role will involve identifying and escalating events such as unauthorised stops, speeding, excessive idling, entering no go zones and harsh braking to the relevant managers. The learner will monitor stop turnaround times and report delivery delays to the relevant manager. You will assist with monitoring planned versus actual kilometres, working hours, driving time and standing time. The role will also involve monitoring compliance with planned route sequences by comparing planned and actual routes. The learner will assist with monitoring vehicle to route assignments and route allocation handovers. You will also be responsible for handing over open calls and queries to the next shift. Daily Route Management Responsibilities The learner will assist with monitoring the Daily Route Management system and checking DRM reports used for driver debriefing. The role will involve escalating incorrect geo fencing and monitoring inactive routes. You will also acknowledge non reporting units and assist with extracting daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Project Manager.
