Key Responsibilities As a Graduate Trainee, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of web and mobile applications throughout their lifecycle. You will be involved in developing functional, responsive and user friendly web applications, maintaining existing websites and developing new mobile and web based features. The role will involve troubleshooting applications, identifying and fixing bugs, improving usability and optimising applications for speed and performance. You will also assist with improving user interfaces and rebuilding legacy applications using modern technologies. You will work on integrating user interface components with server side systems, identifying front end and back end requirements and developing reusable code. The position also involves collaborating with developers, designers, system administrators and customers to create web solutions that meet business and user requirements. You may also be required to provide training and technical support, prepare comprehensive manuals and documentation, develop prototypes and quality mock ups, and ensure that applications maintain high quality graphic and branding standards. Minimum Requirements Applicants must be South African citizens and must have completed Matric. Candidates must have completed a degree or Diploma in an ICT related field or an equivalent NQF qualification. Applicants must have achieved a minimum academic average of 65%. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for technology, good analytical and problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning and taking initiative.
