Anglo American’s Kumba Iron Ore is inviting applications for the Processing Development Programme at Kolomela Mine in Postmasburg, Northern Cape. This full time development programme is designed to provide participants with practical workplace experience in their chosen field of study while developing the skills needed to build a career in the mining and processing industry. About the Programme The Processing Development Programme provides participants with an opportunity to gain practical experience while contributing to the business as part of their ongoing development. Participants will receive workplace exposure and development opportunities designed to help them acquire the skills required to progress their careers within the mining and processing environment. Kumba Iron Ore is involved across the iron ore value chain, including exploration, mining, processing, blending, shipping, marketing and sales. Minimum Requirements Applicants must have Grade 12, N3 or an equivalent qualification with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy. A valid South African driver's licence is required. Applicants must provide proof of residential address and must meet the required medical and physical fitness standards. Candidates will also be required to undergo the LPCAT assessment. Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age. Candidates must currently be unemployed and not studying.
