About the Opportunity The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) Transport Department is inviting applications for a Student Internship Programme within its Finance Branch (Revenue Section). This internship forms part of the City's commitment to providing unemployed students and graduates with valuable workplace experience to complement their studies and improve their employability. The internship is offered for a period not exceeding 18 months and is open to qualifying youth who reside within the City of Johannesburg and have not previously participated in an internship programme, unless the previous internship was unrelated to their field of study. Successful candidates will gain practical experience in revenue management, inventory control, banking processes and municipal financial administration while working within the Transport Department. Internship Details Department: Transport Branch: Finance Position: Internship – Revenue Duration: Up to 18 Months Location: 75 Helen Joseph Street Old Mutual Building Johannesburg Monthly Stipend Graduates (Completed Qualification): R10,109.86 per month Currently Enrolled Students: R4,951.88 per month No additional employment benefits apply.
