Applicants must have:
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
No previous work experience required

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing administrative, secretarial and registry services.
Providing office support and office supplies.
Rendering general administrative services to the Senior Staff Officer Naval Chaplain Services (SSO NCS).
Controlling and processing incoming and outgoing mail and signals.
Preparing and distributing the monthly programme of the Senior Staff Officer Naval Chaplain Services.
Arranging transport and accommodation for official visits.
Receiving telephone calls and referring them to relevant officials.
Handling and resolving telephone enquiries.
Registering incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Managing the safekeeping of official documents.
Drafting routine correspondence when requested.
Arranging official travel, accommodation and processing travel claims and currency reconciliations.
Procuring stationery, refreshments and other office requirements.
